Excellent and addicting.

I bought this because some of the reviews were fairly positive. It is far too easy and worst of all, the dice rolls are NOT random - far from it!!! Disappointing because its sadly predictable and boring.

Good game play. But horrible sound effects. Like nails on a chalk board.

As stated in review no. 13, the doubling function is incorrect if neither player has any men already off the board. It awards points as it is a backgammon rather than a simple win.

I love Backgammon but I find very little challenge even at IRS most difficult level.

Struggled to find a good backgammon game that gave decent options and was challenging at same time. I finally found it!

Great game! Easy to play and great for those just learning the game.

Really good for just BG but I thought I was buying a version that included Russian Backgammon

I really like backgammon and yours is just as I remember. Its awesome.

Kills time and plays well.

Excellent board layout. Addictive. Only issue is the resign feature which only gives AI 1 point if you throw in the towel even when AI is way ahead on an 8 point game. While it makes it easy to cheat the statistics, if you really want to test yourself against AI you have to take every game to the very end so that AI gets the right points.

Love it, however, the colours are incorrect when you go from top to bottom of the board

I never really understood the nuances of backgammon until I downloaded this app. I found the free version way too easy so I decided to splurge on the paid version and Im really glad I did! The hard mode is challenging enough to keep you engaged without getting discouraged and Ive really learned how to use the doubling cube to squeeze my opponent, turning me into a much better player. The UI is easy and intuitive, the graphics are slick and elegant, its just a great overall app. Well worth the money that would have otherwise gone to a latte.

Great game but I am throughly unconvinced that the AI rolls are as random as you would have us believe. No way they get 3 double six rolls in a row while I get 3 consecutive rolls of 1&2

This game plays great, but has a major bug that cannot be seen in the free version of the game (no doubling cube). Heres the problem: If you reject the doubling cube, your opponent should gain one point, not two or three depending on board position. This affects strategy at every level of the game and really needs to be fixed.

Medium is too easy but playing on the hard level is a no win. The computer rolls doubles every time, or so it seems. Not just one roll but often back to back double sixes and then double fives. I took a chance and paid for this game based on other reviews but this played just like the free version I used to play. So sad!

Computer rolls far more doubles than random. Definitely rigged. Why? Cant it all use random dice throws? Whats the point? The more challenging should be for better tactics and play, not rigged. Upsetting and unnecessary.

Long time backgammon player. I was excited to read reviews of this app and bought it based on the reviews. My experience has been completely different. Playing on hard, the game rolls exactly what it needs the vast majority of the time. No one has such luck as to keep all pieces from exposure game after game! I love Backgammon, but this app takes all the fun out of it.

I admire aggressive play, I like someone who can playbacks art back game, but this computer plays in a random and weak manner. Im not a fan of the graphics. Its hard to tell how many pieces you have on a pip sometimes. It seems the dice are random enough.
